Opportunities · MCMI — a strategic project
MCMI — Monsey Community Mobility Initiative. Tracking a potential business opportunity: become the local market & deployment partner for autonomous transportation in the Monsey / Spring Valley area. The play is not to build the AV technology — it's to be the local market developer, infrastructure partner, capital partner, and community / operator bridge.
Goal
Become local deployment partner for autonomous mobility operators in the Northeast.
The Monsey–Spring Valley region of Rockland County, New York may be an unusually strong market for neighborhood-scale autonomous transportation — because of high taxi usage, dense local travel, large family sizes, rapid Orthodox-community growth, short repeat trips, and strong word-of-mouth adoption.
Unlike many suburban markets, transportation services are already deeply integrated into daily life. Residents frequently use local car services for work, shopping, school transportation, medical appointments, family visits, and community activities — so customers are already accustomed to ordering rides.
Our goal is not to develop autonomous vehicle technology. Our goal is to become the local market partner that helps an autonomous mobility company successfully enter and operate within this market — as market developer, infrastructure partner, capital partner, and community / operator bridge.
Residents already rely heavily on car services — school, shopping, work, medical, family visits, community activities. The "order a ride" habit is already in place.
Most demand is inside a compact area → repeat routes, high vehicle utilization, easier geofencing, faster operational learning.
Adoption can spread through families, schools, organizations, and community groups — trust scales faster than a typical suburb.
Young families, internal migration from Brooklyn / NYC, and large household sizes keep demand expanding.
The opportunity is built on high-frequency, short-distance trips within a compact geography.
Community relationships, introductions, adoption, local trust. Community Relations: introductions, organizational partnerships, adoption support, public education.
Charging depot, vehicle storage, parking, maintenance site, staging area. Real estate for fleet staging and charging infrastructure.
Potential to invest or raise capital — but only after operator interest is confirmed. Local investment and investor introductions for future deployments.
Possible partnership with Arrive Express or another local taxi platform if AV companies need local distribution. Local management, hiring, vendor relationships.

Currently conducting market research and transportation-demand analysis within the Monsey–Spring Valley area; would welcome discussion of what criteria would be required for future market consideration.
We believe the Monsey–Spring Valley region of Rockland County, New York represents a unique opportunity for neighborhood-scale autonomous transportation. Unlike many suburban markets, transportation services are already deeply integrated into daily life — residents frequently use local car services for work, shopping, school transportation, medical appointments, family visits, and community activities.
Our goal is not to develop autonomous vehicle technology. Our goal is to become the local market partner that helps an autonomous mobility company successfully enter and operate within this market.
Initial service area: Monsey, Spring Valley, Airmont, Chestnut Ridge, Suffern, Wesley Hills, New Hempstead. This initiative focuses exclusively on local transportation. We are not proposing airport, Manhattan, Brooklyn, or long-distance routes. The opportunity is based on high-frequency, short-distance trips within a compact geographic area.
Existing transportation culture — residents already rely heavily on transportation services (school, shopping, work, medical, family visits, community activities), so customers are already accustomed to ordering rides. Dense local geography — most demand occurs within a compact area, enabling repeat routes, high vehicle utilization, easier geofencing, and faster operational learning. Strong community networks — adoption can spread rapidly through families, schools, organizations, and community groups. Growing population — driven by young families, internal migration from Brooklyn and NYC, and large household sizes.
We are interested in serving as a local deployment partner. Community Relations: introductions, organizational partnerships, adoption support, public education. Operations: local management, hiring assistance, vendor relationships, market development. Real Estate: vehicle storage, fleet staging, charging infrastructure, maintenance facilities. Capital Participation: potential local investment and investor introductions for future deployment opportunities.
Conversations regarding pilot market evaluation, Northeast expansion strategy, local deployment partnerships, community mobility pilots, and infrastructure partnerships. We are currently conducting market research and transportation-demand analysis within the Monsey–Spring Valley area and would welcome discussions regarding what criteria would be required for future market consideration.
